- Previously served as the District Scheduler and Office Manager for Congressman Jo Bonner and as the Executive Director of Child Day Care Association for 8 years
- Served on the boards of the Junior League of Mobile, Mobile United, Art Patrons League, Leadership Mobile, Spring Hill College National Alumni Association and Envision Coastal Alabama
- Currently serves on the board of the Homeless Task Force and on the state legislative committee for the Mobile Area Chamber of Commerce’s Non-Profit Roundtable
- Served as a delegate to the Non-Profit Congress in 2006 and in 2008
